Examine the RPS LED on the front panel of the switch. LED ON means the RPS unit is correctly
connected.
Verifying the installation
Before powering on the switch, verify that:
•
The power supply system meets the switch requirements.
•
The grounding cable is correctly connected.
•
Both the console cable and power cords are correctly connected.
•
All interface cables are routed indoors. If outdoor routing of cables cannot be avoided, verify that
network port lightning arrestors and AC power supply lightning arresters have been correctly
installed.
Powering on the switch
Power on the switch, and you can see the following information:
