Power supplies
The HP 7904 switch supports the PSR1800-56A (JG840A) power supply. The PSR1800-56A power
supply is an AC-input, DC-output power supply that provides a maximum DC output power of 1800 W.
The HP 7904 switch supports 1 + 1 power redundancy. You can install appropriate number of power
supplies according to the power supply mode and system power consumption. Make sure the total
maximum output power of the ordered power supplies is greater than the system power consumption. HP
recommends that you reserve 20% of the maximum output power.
