Before removing the NFC module, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the bottom cover (see

Remove the battery (see

Remove the NFC module:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the NFC module (1).
2.
Disconnect the antenna from the NFC module (2).
3.
Use a flat tool to pry the module up (3), and the lift it from the computer (4).
NOTE:
The NFC module cable and NFC antenna are available in the NFC Cable Kit, spare part number
842323-001.
Reverse the removal procedures to install the NFC module.
