Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the bottom cover (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the speakers:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1).
2.
Remove the cable between the speakers from the clips along the bottom of the battery (2).
3.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure each speaker to the computer.
