Lift the front edge of the cover

and swing it toward you.

Remove the memory/Mini PCI card module compartment cover.
NOTE
The memory/Mini PCI card module compartment cover is included in the Plastics/
Hardware Kit, spare part number 438552-001 .
5.
Spread the retaining tabs

on each side of the memory module socket to release the memory
module. (The edge of the module opposite the socket rises away from the computer.)
6.
Slide the module

away from the socket at an angle.
7.
Remove the memory module.
NOTE
Memory modules are designed with a notch

to prevent incorrect installation into
the memory module socket.
Reverse this procedure to install a memory module.
