System Fan

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Preparation for Disassembly on page 31

Remove the access panel (

Access Panel on page 32

Place the chassis on its side with the rear toward you.

Disconnect the cable that connects the system fan to the system board.

Remove the two Torx screws that secure the fan to the chassis, and then remove the fan from the
chassis.

To install the fan, reverse the removal procedures.

Plug the cable into the white connector labeled CHFAN1.
