8. Do you want to install the tape drive in a larger “half-height” drive bay or
a smaller “1-inch” drive bay?
Remove the cover plate from the desired drive bay.
TIP
: Keep any mounting hardware such as rails. You will need this
hardware for securing the drive in step 11.
9. If you are installing the tape drive in a larger “half-height” drive bay, skip
this step.
If you are installing the tape
drive in the smaller “1-inch”
drive bay, remove and discard
the mounting bracket from
the tape drive.
