Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly ( Preparation for disassembly on page 22 ).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 23 ).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 25 ).
4. Remove the fan (see Fan on page 30 ).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 34 ).
Remove the speakers:
1. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure the speakers to the computer.
2. Release the speaker cable (2) from the retention channel/retention clips built into the bottom cover.
3. Remove the speakers from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
