NOTE: If you plan to install the (included) cable manager on the switch, you must install the
rack ears in the front rack mount position, flanges flush with the front of the switch.
5. Attach the rack ears to the chassis in one of the three positions shown. For a flush mount with the front
of the switch, mount the rack ears with the flange toward the front of the switch. If you are mounting an
Aruba 6410 switch, use two rack ears mounted one above the other, on each side.
