Do not install the HP AdvanceStack hub in an environment where
the operating ambient temperature might exceed 55°C (131°F).
Make sure the air flow around the sides of the hub is not restricted.
Mounting the Hub
I m p o r t a n t
A hub should be mounted only to a wall or wood surface that is at least
1/2-inch (12.7 mm) plywood or its equivalent.
The following illustration shows you how to mount the Hub-7E
under a table.
When you select the mounting location, make sure you allow enough room
to make the cable connections to the hub and to be able to access the cables
if they have to be moved.
When drilling into the table or other horizontal or vertical surface, you may
need to first pre-drill the surface with a 3/32-inch bit.
