5.2 Setting Gains
The Primary Gain for the HoverCore™ flight stability algorithm is set by the End-Point Adjustment (EPA) value on channel 5. This channel
should be associated with a two-position switch. This channel is also used to activate the Altitude Hold mode. You need to adjust the EPA on
the “+” and “-“ sides of the channel travel.
The value on the right side is typically the “DOWN” position of the Gear switch on Spektrum transmitters also considered the “OFF” position.
The EPA travel value is used by the HoverflySPORT as the Primary Gain value for the aircraft. Moving the switch to the “UP” position or
“ON” will allow the left side value to be adjusted. Use a negative value on the left side so that the HoverflySPORT will read the value
correctly. The EPA travel value on the left side is used by the HoverflySPORT for Altitude Hold Gain.
During flight the Altitude Hold function is enabled using the Gear switch. Moved to the UP or ON position will activate Altitude Hold and the
LED will change to a blue color.
