Your freezer rating is             . It can be used to freeze fresh or cooked
food and is suitable for the long term storage of commercially frozen foods.

Controlling the Temperature
of the Freezer Compartment

WARNING: Freezers must not be placed in a room where the
temperature goes below the minimum or above maximum
specified, for prolonged periods (see checklist).

Your freezer is fitted with a factory set thermostat control which does not
require any adjustment.

Note: The Fast Freeze switch should normally be in the ‘O’ position.

In summer or conditions giving high temperatures around the
freezer the compressor will run for longer periods, conversely
during winter, the compressor will run for much shorter periods.
To check that your appliance maintains the correct temperature a
freezer thermometer is available from Hotpoint Genuine Parts &
Accessories Mail Order Hotline.

WARNING: Do not use a mercury filled thermometer as  breakage
would cause a health hazard.

To improve air circulation, distribute food evenly throughout the
compartments and do not line the upper compartment shelf or baskets
with paper, plastic or foil.

Before using your appliance for the first time,

Hotpoint recommend that you read the ‘Instruction

Book’ thoroughly...

automatically. However, Hotpoint recommend that you

clean the interior periodically.
