How to turn on the cookeye® device
Press the red button on
the cookeye® device;
the cookeye® indicator
light begins to flash
slowly.
All the programmed
setting indicator lights
on the four power level
displays also begin to
flash immediately.
To enable a specific programmed setting, press the
top and/or lower part of the control key
corresponding to the desired cooking zone until the
symbol for the chosen setting lights up.
The top indicator light in
the power level display
flashes until the
temperature is reached.
For example: in the
water setting, the 3rd
indicator light flashes.
For better results when
using the water and
milk settings, fill your
pan at least two thirds
up.
Note
Should you wish to use two cookeye®
devices, we recommend you start one device at a
time in order to avoid any confusion in
correspondence with the relevant controls.

When the contents of your pan reach the desired
temperature, the hob will sound two short beeps per
second, and the programmed setting indicator light
on the power level display will flash in time with the
beeping. At this stage, you have two options:
Option 1:
If you press the lower or
or
or

or
top part of the cooking
zone control key, or if
the hob detects a drop
in temperature of the
pan contents (for
example: due to pasta
being added to the
water at boiling point),
the beeping stops and:

Note
If you fail to intervene, the hob continues
its automatic temperature adjustment and continues
to beep. If you fail to intervene within the next 10
minutes, the cooking zone is turned off. In any case,
the flashing programmed setting indicator light on
the power level display indicates a pre-heating
phase, whereas a fixed lit indicator light indicates
the dish has reached the desired temperature.
