
Replacing Carbon Brushes - Brush Unit
Power Cord Care
If the brush unit motor slows down or begins to run
Inspect cord for damage before each use.
erratically, inspect the carbon brushes for wear.
While in use, do not pull or carry by the cord.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,

Inspect the carbon brush and if the carbon is
below 1/2", a new carbon brush should be
installed.
Reinstall the carbon brush by compressing the
spring and thread the inner access cap back
into place.
