Cultivation tools
The waved discs cut through the soil and loosen
the seed bed.
Cultivation tools
The coulter arms are mounted in maintenance
free rubber elements.
The harder the ground and the deeper the culti-
vation tools need to work, the higher the required
pre-load of the rubber elements.
The tools setting must be matched to the soil
conditions and can thus only be found in the
field using operating position.
Cultivation disc adjustment
The depth of the coulter discs is set on the
hydraulic cylinders by adding or removing alu-
minium clips.
When lifting the machine, the cylinders will ex-
tend and the discs are raised. When lowering,
the cylinder are retracted down to the aluminium
clips and press the discs into the ground.
Hydraulic cylinder depth setting with aluminium clips
It is highly recommended to find the correct set
-
ting by trying and testing.
¾
Insert the same quantity and colour combi-
nation of aluminium clips on the hydraulic
cylinders.
¾
In working position apply pressure to lower
the coulter discs to working position, until the
hydraulic cylinders rest against the aluminium
clips.
¾
Set the control unit to floating position and
drive a few yards in the field.
¾
Check the penetrating depth and the loosen-
ing effect of the tools.
¾
For a deeper setting remove aluminium clips,
until the desired working depth is reached.
Always insert or remove the same amount and
colour combination of aluminium clips on all
hydraulic cylinders.
Check the adjustment before starting
work and also in-between.
