ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
WHAT KIND OF ROUTINE MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED?
We use sealed bearings throughout our rowers so lubrication is not needed. The most important maintenance step is to simply
wipe your perspiration off the rower after each use.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY ROWER?
Use only soap and water cleaners. Never use solvents on plastic parts. Keeping your rower and its operating environment clean
will minimize maintenance issues and service calls. Horizon recommends the following preventative maintenance schedule:
AFTER EACH USE
Clean with soap and water.
WARNING!
Wipe down the rower with a damp cloth. Never use solvents, as they can damage the rower.
EVERY WEEK
Follow these steps to clean beneath the rower:
• Move the rower to a remote location.
• Wipe or vacuum any dust particles or other objects that may have accumulated underneath the rower.
• Return the rower to its previous position.
EVERY MONTH
Inspect and tighten any loose assembly bolts and pedals.
Note: Replace defective components immediately; do not use equipment until repair.
