Shake the electrode to remove any air bubbles remaining
on the ion selective membrane.

Do not touch the stir bar with the electrode. It may
damage the electrode.

Make sure that the rubber
stopper of the internal solution
fill port is open during
measurement.
If it is closed, the internal
solution does not ooze out very
much from the liquid junction. As
a result, the potential of the reference electrode will
become unstable and susceptible to stir.

It is recommended to place the electrode in the electrode
stand.

If gravel or other foreign matter gets in
the sample solution, for example,
when measuring outdoors, attach the
protective pipe. It will protect the ion
selective membrane of the electrode
from foreign matters in the sample
solution.
