Note
Each rail.power block/cell has a sticker on it that identifies the commissioning.
•
rail.power blocks/cells up to 2 years old can be replaced by new rail.power blocks/cells
•
If the rail.power block/cell to be replaced is 2 years old or older, please contact the
HOPPECKE service department.
•
If rail.power blocks/cells are defective, you can replace a maximum of 12% of the
blocks/cells of the entire battery. If more blocks/cells are defective, all blocks/cells must be
replaced.
Required Tools:
•
Torque wrench with suitable widths for M8 screws
1. Remove the connectors to the adjacent blocks/cells.
2. Lift the rail.power block/cell to be replaced out of the tray/container.
Note
It is recommended to use a suitable suction lifting device for the removal and installation of the
blocks/cells.
3. Lift the new rail.power block/cell into the tray.
4. Make the electrical connections to the neighbouring blocks/cells.
Note
The exchange blocks/cells must be charged. Stored blocks/cells must be recharged according to
7 Notes on storage on page 24.
