To add additional memory to the workstation
1. From the side of the workstation, slide the cover release latch up, to gently lift the cover.
2. The DIMM sockets are now exposed. Refer to the section
for DIMM socket
configuration.
ATTENTION
As the DIMMs get heated and remain hot, do not touch the DIMMs immediately after the
system has been powered down. Wait until the DIMMs to cool before handling them.
Handle the DIMMs by the edges and avoid touching DIMM components.
3. While wearing a grounded ESD wrist strap, press the ejectors on the memory module socket down
and out to allow the memory module to be inserted into the socket
