Removing the Front Surround Assembly

Remove 2 self tapping 
screws both sides 

 
 
 
 
 
 

 
To remove the Front Surround assembly remove the 2 self tapping screws, as shown in Fig 2, on both sides of the 
recorder. Retain these screws for fitting of the new front surround assembly. 
 
 
 
When the 4 screws have been removed the complete Front Surround Assembly can be gentle pulled forward to release 
it from the chassis plates. The Front Surround assembly will still be attached by the cables

Carefully unplug the inverter lead, the display lead, the speaker lead and the touch screen lead. All leads should be 
unplugged from the processor board and left attached to the Front Surround assembly. Do NOT unplug the lead by 
pulling on the wire.
