Step Action
1
Remove the two screws
on the housing cover.

Remove old battery from the battery holder
. If needed, pry out battery by using a slotted screwdriver as a
lever on the holder’s side slots.

Install battery as follows to avoid damage to the battery and holder:
•
See label in battery holder defining the “+” and “-” terminals
to ensure battery is placed in holder
with correct polarity.
•
Do not attempt to bend the battery’s hold-down tabs forward.
•
Insert the battery negative end under the hold-down tab, at an angle, and against the end of the
spring tab
. Simultaneously move the negative end of the battery into position, compressing the
spring tab, and angle the positive end into the holder
.

Replace cover and retighten screws
.

Dispose of used battery promptly per local regulations or the battery manufacturer’s recommendations. Keep
away from children. Do not disassemble and do not expose of in fire.
Note: Re-pairing via pairing mode is not required after installing a new battery
