Correct application of data carriers
Due to the position of the transmission/reception antenna inside the different Ident data carriers, a
different read position of the data carrier is required to the operating unit.
The operating unit is activated by actuating the ”I” (on) or the ”O” (off) key. The operating unit remains in
the reading mode for about 10 seconds. During this time, the code carrier (e.g. key fob) has to be
passed in front of the operating unit. If the code carrier has the authorization, the release is issued and
the LED "ready" (see 5.) lights up. Now the user is authorized to arm/disarm the intrusion detection
system with the "I" or the "O" key.
The operating unit is a switching element with ”memory-aided locking” and can be used for all intrusion
detection central units as well as access systems of all VdS-classes.
The operating unit is activated by actuating a key. The operating unit remains in the reading mode for

To activate the operating unit a 1- to 6-digit
, depending on the programming, has to be
entered. The operating unit remains in the reading mode for about 10 seconds. During this time, the
code carrier (e.g. key fob) has to be passed in front of the operating unit. If the code carrier has the
authorization, the release signal is issued and the LED "ready" (see 6.) lights up. Now the user is
authorized to disarm the intrusion detection system with the "O" (off) key.

Influence on the read process by other data
carriers :
In order to prevent several data carriers affecting
the read process, ensure that the desired data
carrier is held separately, if possible in the
reading range .
