1 Overview
The HP24100ULWP and HP28100ULWP are weatherproof power supplies that provide power for access control, security
and CCTV applications that require outdoor installation. The HP24100ULWP provides a non-power limited output of
24VAC at a maximum of 4.0A. The HP28100ULWP provides a non-power limited output of 28VAC @ 3.6A. Each unit
consists of a thermally-fused transformer and an electrically-fused primary input in a NEMA 4X IP66 weatherproof
enclosure.

4 Installation Instructions
1. Unpack product. Do not discard packing materials until installation and checkout are successfully completed.
2. Pre-drill holes where enclosure is to be mounted. Choose a vertical surface, strong enough to support the full weight
of the assembly. Not the added dimensions of the required mounting brackets.
3. Secure enclosure to the desire location using the supplied hardware.
4. Use a knockout punch, standard hole saw, or other means to punch holes for the incoming AC power and low voltage
wiring. AC mains and low voltage wiring must be wired separately using weatherproof conduit or suitable outdoor
wiring.
5. Disconnect AC mains power to the branch circuit where the product will be connected.
6. Route AC field wiring to power supply in weatherproof conduit or use other suitable outdoor wiring.
7. Connect AC mains wiring (115V, 60Hz) to the terminal block while maintaining a 1/4” separation between AC mains
and low voltage wiring as shown (see Figure 1).
