Press to enter the Automatic Tuning Menu.
Enter 10 as the Unlock code.
Pre-Tune Method
– Choose Pre-Tune at Value
Enter Pre-Tune Value. This is a Setpoint that in the range of the process.
Recommendation is at least 5% greater than the current Setpoint
Pre-Tune save Location. Here you can store the Pre-Tune values to one
of 5 different PID sets. Recommend PID Set 1.
Run Pre-Tune on Set 1 now? Select
“Yes” to start the tuning process.
Once Yes is selected, a Status screen will appear with the Tuning status.
When “Stopped” appear on the lower half of the screen, Pre-Tune is
finished. Press enter to proceed.
Engage Self-Tune. If Yes is elected the Self-Tune feature will be active
and the Tune Led is lite continuously.
Auto-Pre-Tune at Power-
Up? Recommend “None”.
DCP cycles back to step 6. Hold down and press to enter the Main
Menu.
Press Up or Down to select Operation Mode, then to exit.
Verify tuning by changing Setpoints. Make changes to PID values, if
necessary, in the Control Group.
