Intrinsic Safety Conditions 

•

 

The housing of the equipment may generate an ignition-capable level of  
electrostatic discharge. Therefore, the equipment shall not be installed  
in a location where the external conditions are conducive to the build-up of 
electrostatic charge on such surfaces. This is particularly important if the 
equipment is installed in a Zone 0/Division 1 location. In addition, the device shall only be 
cleaned with a damp cloth and shall not be stored or operated in a hazardous location if 
strong electrostatic charge generating processes can occur. 

•

 

The equipment shall only be powered using single D-cell pack #32448424.  

•

 

This pack may be replaced in hazardous area and shall not be altered in any way. 

•

 

The SIM connection (J1) shall only be used for SIM card. 

•

 

The connection of an external antenna is not allowed at RF connector J2.
