Starting & Stopping the Engine
Basic Operation & Riding
Always follow the proper starting procedure described below.
For your safety, avoid starting or operating the engine in an enclosed
area such as a garage. Your ATV’s exhaust contains poisonous carbon
monoxide gas which can collect rapidly in an enclosed area and cause
illness or death.
When you stop riding in reverse and turn the ignition switch to the OFF

) position
After the engine stops, turn the ignition switch to the ON ( ) position.
The transmission is shifted in neutral automatically.
The starter motor will operate when the transmission is in neutral or the
front brake lever is pulled in.
