Gear Case Oil
Servicing Your Honda
Park the ATV on level ground.
Place an oil drain pan under the oil drain plug ( ).
Remove the oil filler cap ( ) and the drain plug.
Fill the gear case with the recommended oil.
After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the drain plug with a
new sealing washer and tighten it to the specified torque:
Remove the oil level check bolt ( ). Make sure the oil level reaches
the oil level check hole ( ).
Install the oil filler cap and oil level check bolt with a new sealing
washer ( ).
