Maintenance

Air Cleaner

Changing Air Cleaner Element

Use a new Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or equivalent specified for your
model.

NOTICE

Using the wrong air cleaner element can result in serious
damage to the engine.

Pull the passenger footpeg out and

remove the screw A and bolts.

Remove the air cleaner duct cover.

Remove the air cleaner housing cover by

removing the screws B.

Remove the air cleaner element.

Thoroughly clean the inside of the air

cleaner housing.

Install a new air cleaner element.

Install the parts in the reverse order of

removal.
