Engine oil level

RECOMMENDED OIL:
Open the engine hood (see page

).
The oil level dipstick is located on the front right side of the engine.
Clean the area around the oil dipstick, remove it and wipe the
dipstick with a clean cloth.
Reinstall the dipstick, remove and check the oil level.
If the oil level is low (near the bottom), remove the oil filler cap and
add enough of the recommended oil to bring the level to the upper
limit. Recheck the oil level after adding any oil.
Use 4-stroke motor oil that meets or exceeds

classification SE or later (or equivalent).
Always check the API service label on the oil
container to be sure it includes the letters SE
or later (or equivalent).
SAE 5W-30 is recommended for general use.
