STORAGE

STORAGE PROCEDURE

1.Drain the fuel tank and carburetor.

a. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and remove the fuel filter.

b. Drain all gasoline from the fuel tank into an approved gasoline 

container. We recommend using a commercially available gasoline 

hand pump. Do not use an electric pump.

c. Remove the rear cover (see page 39).

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.

You can be burned or seriously injured when 

handling fuel.

• Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks, 

and flame away.

• Handle fuel only outdoors.

• Wipe up spills immediately.
