The hour meter indicates the hours the generator has been operated.
Use it to determine when scheduled maintenance should be
performed (see page
).
The Auto Throttle system automatically reduces engine speed when
all loads are turned off or disconnected. When appliances are turned
on or reconnected, the engine returns to the rated speed.
Recommended to minimize fuel consumption and further
reduce noise levels when no load is applied to the generator.
The Auto Throttle system does not operate.
Recommended to minimize warm-up time when the generator
is started.
Leave the switch in the OFF position when using appliances that
require only momentary power, that have a power demand of
less than 1 ampere, or that have large startup power demands
(see page
