Installation
1.
Assemble the battery and battery rubber.

Make sure the + and - marks on the
bottom of the battery rubber align
with the positive
+
and negative
-
of
the battery terminals.
2.
Install the battery assembly.
3.
Install and tighten the battery terminal
bolts. Always connect the positive
+
terminal first. Make sure that bolts and
nuts are tight.
4.
Tighten the positive
+
terminal bolt and
negative
-
terminal bolt to the specified
torque:
Torque:
1.5 lbf·ft (2.0 N·m, 0.2 kgf·m)
5.
Install the battery band.
6.
Install the battery lid and tighten the bolts
to the specified torque:
Torque:
3.8 lbf·ft (5.2 N·m, 0.5 kgf·m)
