Change the gear position in accordance with your driving needs.

Shift lever positions
1 Shifting
You hear the beep when the transmission is in ( R .
When the vehicle is in reverse, the speed of the
vehicle may be limited to prevent damage to the
transmission.
While the High Voltage battery level is full, or the
High Voltage battery temperature is low,
regenerative braking may become less effective.
To prevent malfunction and unintended
engagement:
•
Do not spill any liquids on or around shift lever.
•
Do not place or drop any objects on or around shift
lever.
•
Do not let passengers or children operate the shift
lever.
You may occasionally find that it takes longer than
usual for the vehicle to start moving when you select
( R , release the brake pedal, and/or depress the
accelerator pedal. This may occur when the High
Voltage battery level is extremely low, and does not
indicate a vehicle malfunction.
When shifting positions in extremely low
temperatures (-30°C), there may be a short delay
before the gear position is displayed. Always confirm
you are in the correct gear position before driving.
Reverse

Used when parking or turning the
power on or off.
Neutral
Propulsion power is not transmitted to
wheels.
