MAINTENANCE PRECAUTIONS
Use new, genuine Honda parts or
their equivalent f or maintenance and
repair. Part s which are not of
equivalent quality may impair the
saf ety of your motorcycle.
Stop the engine and support the
motorcycle securely on a f irm, level
surf ace bef ore perf orming any
maintenance.
If your motorcycle is overturned or
involved in a collision, inspect control
levers, cables, brake hoses, calipers,
accessories, and other vital parts f or
damage. Do not ride the motorcycle if
damage impairs saf e operation. Have
your Honda dealer inspect the major
c o m p o n e nt s , i n c l u d in g f r a m e ,
suspension and steering parts, f or
misalignment and damage that you
may not be able to detect.
