WHEEL REMOVAL

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 40.

Front Wheel Removal

1.

Place the motorcycle on its center

stand.

2.

Raise the front wheel off the ground by

placing a support block under the

engine.

3.

Disconnect the speedometer sensor

cable connector.

4.

Remove the speedometer sensor cable

hanging bolts (1).

5.

Remove the front axle nut (2).

6.

Remove the front axle shaft (3) and

the wheel.

Do not depress the brake lever when the

wheel is off the motorcycle. The caliper

piston will be forced out of the cylinder with

subsequent loss of brake fluid. If this occurs,

servicing of the brake system will be

necessary. See your Honda dealer for this

service.
