To stop the engine in an emergency,

pull the clip out of the emergency

stop switch by pulling the lanyard.

W e suggest that you stop the engine
this way occasionally to verify that
the emergency stop switch is

operating properly.

Turn the ignition switch key to the

OFF position (electric start type)

after verifying the emergency stop
switch operation.
