Parking Brake Lock

To Apply the Brake Lock
Pull the parking brake lever ( ) back to
lock the rear wheel.

).
The parking brake lock will not be applied
if the parking brake is not adjusted
properly (page
).
To Release the Brake Lock
Before riding, check that the parking
brake indicator is turned OFF and make
sure that the rear brake is fully released so
there is no drag on the rear wheel.
Be sure the parking brake is applied while
starting and warming up the engine.
The parking brake lock will not function if
the parking brake is not adjusted properly

).
Before starting to ride the scooter, release
the parking brake lever ( ) while lightly
pulling down on the rear of the lever.
