Servicing Your Honda

Seat Removal

Saf ety Precautions

Refer to

on page

Removal

Insert the ignition key (1) into the
helmet holder (2).
Turn it clockwise and pull the seat lock
lever (3) downward.
Pull the seat (4) back and up.

Installation

The seat must be removed to access the
owner’s manual and to remove the side
cover.

Insert the prongs (5) into the fuel tank
stay (6), and the stays at the rear of the
frame.
Push down on the rear of the seat.
Turn the ignition key counterclockwise
to lock the seat, then remove the key.

Be sure to securely lock the seat after
reinstalling it.
