FUEL SYSTEM

CARBURETOR INSTALLATION

Connect the fuel, air vent and fuel drain tubes.

Install the carburetor into the insulator by aligning the
carburetor boss with insulator boss.
Tighten the insulator band screw.

FUEL TUBE

AIR VENT TUBE

Connect the throttle cable end to the throttle drum and
tighten the adjusting nut.

ADJUSTING NUT

DRAIN TUBE

ALIGN

Check the starting enrichment (SE) valve for scoring,
scratches or wear.
Check the seat at the tip of the SE valve for stepped wear.
Replace the SE valve set if necessary.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

After the installation, check for the smooth operation of
the choke lever (page 3-5).
