THROTTLE OPERATION

Check for smooth operation of the throttle and that it returns auto-
matically to the fully closed position from any open position and from
any steering position.

Measure the freeplay at the throttle grip flange.

ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the freeplay by loosening the lock nut and turning the
adjuster.

After adjustment, tighten the lock nut securely.

Recheck the throttle operation.

FINAL DRIVE OIL

Place the motorcycle on its sidestand.

Remove the oil filler cap from the final gear case.

Check that the oil level is up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.

Check for leaks if the oil level is low.

Pour the recommended oil through the oil filler hole until it reaches
the lower edge of the hole.

When replacing the final gear oil, refer to the Service Manual.

Install and tighten the oil filler cap.

TIRE PRESSURE

SETTING DIGITAL CLOCK

With the ignition ON. Push the Select button to display the clock.

Push and hold the Select button for more then 2 seconds until the
Hour starts to flash.  

Push the Select button to choose the desired hour.

Push and hold the Select button for more then 2 seconds until the
Minute starts to flash.

Push the Select button to choose the desired minute. 

Push and hold the select for more then 2 seconds to end the clock
set procedure.
