THROTTLE CABLE

FREE PLAY:
0.5

2.5 mm

Adjust the throttle cable free play properly.

Move the choke lever to the
CLOSED (upwards) position.
Remove the air cleaner cover by
unhooking the upper tab on the
top of the air cleaner cover and
its two lower tabs.

Loosen the throttle cable fixing
nut.

Tighten the throttle cable fixing nut securely.

Check the throttle cable free
play at the tip of the cable by
pulling and releasing the
throttle trigger a few times and
adjust the free play by using the
adjusting nut. It should be 0.5
2.5 mm at the tip of the throttle
cable. (Take care not to damage
the throttle cable.)
