pair with the mirror.
Another device is already paired.
Make sure BLUETOOTH signal is turned off on other
devices.
The Homewerks mirror cannot
be discovered by the
Homewerks Connect app.
The mirror is not in set-up mode.
Long press the ( ) button on the mirror control
panel for 5 seconds to enter set-up mode. The
mirror speaker will say “Now in set-up mode”.
Follow the steps in the Pairing your Alexa Mirror to
the Homewerks Connect App section on page 7.
The mirror and the mobile device are not
connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Ensure that your mobile device is connected to
the same Wi-Fi network that the mirror was
configured on.
Alexa is not responding to your
commands.
The microphone on the mirror is muted.
If the red LED indicator is illuminated on the mirror,
the microphone is muted. Press the ( ) button on
the mirror control panel to unmute the microphone.
The red LED indicator on the mirror will turn off.
The mirror may have lost the Wi-Fi signal
or the mirror is not paired to your Amazon
account or to the Homewerks Connect app.
Follow all of the steps in the Pairing your Alexa
Mirror to the Homewerks Connect App section
on page 7.
The Amazon Alexa and Homewerks Connect
apps are logged into different accounts.
Sign out of the Amazon Alexa and Homewerks
Connect apps. Sign into each again using the
same account.
You are installing two or more Homewerks
LED mirrors with Alexa built-in at the same
time.
Fully power down both mirrors. Once both units
are OFF, take the following steps:
- Turn on the first mirror.
- Long press the ( ) for 8 seconds to initiate the
pairing process to the mirror.
- Long press the ( ) button for 8 seconds until
you hear “Now in set up mode.” Open the
Homewerks Connect app and go through the
pairing process.
- Once the first mirror has been set-up and all
commands are working properly, turn OFF the
first mirror. Then turn ON the second mirror.
- Complete the steps above to set up the second
mirror, but during the pairing process change the
name of the second mirror from MIRROR to a
different name.
- Once both mirrors have been set-up, you can
turn ON the power to the first mirror. Both mirrors
should work independently.
