INSTALLATION
Supply Air Valve
The 150mm diameter Round White Metal Ceiling Air Supply Valve is manufactured from White Epoxy Powder Coated Steel. The valve has a male
spigot to fit directly to the supplied flexible ducting.
The Supply Air Valve is fully adjustable and has a locking nut to fix the position of the control disc upon commissioning. The valve should be open to
reduce the power used by the unit.
The Supply Air Valve is supplied complete with fixing body with pre-drilled holes for installation.
The Supply Air Valve should not be located within 1 metre of a smoke or CO detector or heating thermostat.
The unit can be suspended using the cord provided or mounted onto the roof joints.
Please ensure that there is a least 150mm clear all around the unit, including the bottom, to allow air to enter the unit via the filter.
Please pay particular attention to make sure mineral wool or other loft insulation material is at least 150mm away from any part of the unit.
Timber spacers on joists may be required to achieve this.
The flexible duct must be securely attached to the supply air valve and the fan unit and the filter to the fan unit using the dyno-ties supplied.
