Troubleshooting

Problem

Cause

Remedy

Reduced Steam 
or No Steam

Water tank may be empty

Fill the water tank with tap or distilled water.

Steam nozzle may be blocked

Locate steam nozzle at the bottom of the 
handheld unit. Use a toothpick to make sure hole 
is free of debris.

There is no power to the unit

Plug cord into a grounded, working circuit.

Did not press steam button/trigger Press the ON/OFF button on the steam unit.
Steam Control Knob set to 
minimum

Turn the steam control knob clockwise to 
generate more steam.

Unit will not  
turn on

Blown fuse or breaker

Replace fuse or reset breaker in home.

Power cord not plugged in

Plug cord into a grounded, working circuit.

Internal unit fuse blown

Contact customer service.

Water Tank Cap 
is difficult to 
remove

Cap handle slippery or  
screwed on too tightly.

Push the cap handle with both thumbs to 
dislodge from the tank.

O Rings are dry

Lubricate the O Rings with petroleum jelly.

Adaptor is  
difficult to remove 
from unit

O Rings are dry

Lubricate the O Rings on the steam  
nozzle located in the Handheld Unit with 
petroleum jelly.

Accessories  
are difficult  
to attach

Arrows are not aligned

Make sure arrow on accessory aligns with arrow 
on adaptor.

O Rings are dry

Lubricate the O Rings on the adaptor with 
petroleum jelly.
