Remove any double-sided adhesive tape you attached to the
weathervane.

Close the housing again by pushing it upwards and turning it anti-
clockwise until it locks into place.
Afterwards, you can teach-in the weather data sensor to a wireless wea-
ther data center or to the Homematic Central Control Unit.
5.3 Teaching-in
Please read this entire section before starting the teach-in proce-
dure!
To integrate the weather data sensor into your Homematic system and
enable it to communicate with other Homematic devices (e.g. Homematic
Weather Data Center), you must teach-in the weather data sensor first.
You can teach-in the Homematic weather data sensor directly to other
Homematic devices (“„5.3.1 Teaching-in directly to Homematic devices“
on page 45) or to the Homematic Central Control Unit (“5.3.1 Tea-
ching-in directly to Homematic devices“ on page 45).
5.3.1 Teaching-in directly to Homematic devices
If you want to teach-in the weather data sensor to one or more Homema-
tic devices, you must put the devices to be connected into teach-in mode.
During teach-in, please make sure you maintain a distance of at
least 50 cm between the devices.
To teach in, proceed as follows:

Briefly press the device button
(K)
using a pointed object (e.g.
a pen) to activate the teach-in mode. The device LED
(J)
slowly
starts flashing orange.
