3 Function
The wireless inclination sensor features an internal position
sensor, which opens a contact if the device strays from a
level position (you can configure the degree of drift which
must be reached before the contact is opened). Decoding
circuitry converts the detected status into HomeMatic wire-
less commands. The device is battery-operated, meaning it
can be used flexibly and in any location.

4 General system information
on HomeMatic
This device is part of the HomeMatic home control
system and works with the bidirectional BidCoS® wire-
less protocol.
All devices are supplied with a standard configuration.
However, the device functionality can be configured by
means of software and a programming unit. For infor-
mation on the additional functions that can be made
available in this way and on the supplementary func-
tions which you can benefit from by using the Home
-
Matic system in conjunction with other components,
please refer to the separate configuration instructions
or to the HomeMatic system manual.
