Start-up
If no teach-in operations are carried out,
teach-in mode is exited automatically after 20
seconds. If there is another device in teach-in
mode, this device will be taught-in. If the
status display has already been taught-in to a
Central Control Unit and is thus blocked for
direct teach-in, it can still be put into
configuration mode as described above, but
the device LED will light up red for 2 seconds
when a control button is pressed. Direct
teach-in is not possible!
After teach-in has been performed, multiple operating
functions are available for use. You will find further in

formation in section
„6 Operation“.
5.3.2 Teaching-in to a Homematic Central Control
Unit

controlled and configured (directly via the CCU2
user interface or an app),
•
connected directly to other devices or
•
used in the central programs
by using the Homematic software “WebUI”.
