TheShiatsuMassagercomeswithascrewlocatedonthebackoftheunittoprotectthemassagemechanism
duringshipment,whichmustberemovedbeforethefirstusetoallowtheshiatsufeaturetofunction.Usethe
providedAllenkey.Then,properlydisposeofthescrew.
Warning - Failure to remove screw may cause permanent damage to the massager.
Error:
allremotecontrolLEDSflashforafewseconds.
Cause:
massageroverloaded.
Solution:
ensuretheallenkeybolt/screwhasbeenremovedfrombackofthemassagecushion(usingthe
allenkeyincluded).ShouldtheconditioncontinueafterthispleasecontactyourHoMedicsservicecentre.
NOTE:completesteps1to3beforeswitchingtheapplianceonatthemains.
1. AttachtheMassageseattoalmostanychairusingtheintegratedstraplocatedatthebackoftheseat.
Ensureitisheldfirmlyinplacebyadjustingthestrapasnecessary.
2. Connectthepowersupply,plugtheadaptorintoa230VACmainsoutletandswitchon.
3. Onceseated,usetheremotecontroltooperatetheappliance.Pressthebutton&selectthedesired
massagezonetostartthemassage.
4. Pressthebuttontostopthemassage.
NOTE:
• Thereisa15minuteautoshut-offonthisapplianceforyoursafety.Thisfeatureshouldnotbeconsidered
asasubstitutefor‘OFF’.Alwaysremembertoswitchtheapplianceoffwhennotinuse.
• ThemovingShiatsumechanismalways“parks”orfinishesinitslowestposition.Itwillcontinuetothis
positionafterthepowerhasbeenturnedoff.Iftheelectricalsupplyisinterrupted,whenpowerisrestored,
themechanismwill“park”ormovetoitslowestposition.
MAINTENANCE:
Cleaning
Unplugtheapplianceandallowtocoolbeforecleaning.Cleanonlywithasoft,slightlydampsponge.
• Neverallowwateroranyotherliquidstocomeintocontactwiththeappliance.
• Donotimmerseinanyliquidtoclean.
• Neveruseabrasivecleaners,brushes,glass/furniturepolish,paintthinneretctoclean.
Storage
Placetheapplianceinitsboxorinasafe,dry,coolplace.Avoidcontactwithsharpedgesorpointedobjects
whichmightcutorpuncturethefabricsurface.Toavoidbreakage,DONOTwrapthepowercordaroundthe
appliance.DONOThangtheunitbythecord.
Plug (MODEL SBM-210HA-3GB ONLY)
Iftheplugonthisapplianceisdamaged,itcanbereplacedwithaBS1363plug,fitted
witha3ABS1362fuse.Onlyusea3ampfusewiththisappliance.Caremustbetaken
whenchangingtheplug.Ifindoubt,contactaqualifiedelectrician.
