Operating the oven

The oven’s wattage is 1500W (plus 1700W for the hot plates = 3200W). Set the oven to

the desired temperature, between 50 °C and 250 °C. The switches at the bottom of the
control panel are used to select either the grill or bake elements, or both elements
simultaneously.
Note:  The oven’s temperature is not controlled by a thermostat, but rather regulated by a
simmer switch. As a result, the indicator light will switch on and off as the switch cycles,
but this does not indicate that the oven is at the correct temperature. We recommended
setting the oven to 250 °C to heat the oven quickly, then readjusting the temperature to
the desired setting.

The grill function, the bake function or a combination of both is controlled by the top knob

and the bottom heat switch.

Select the temperature setting first and then choose the desired oven setting (bake or grill).

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning any parts of the oven, always ensure that it is off, unplugged and has
completely cooled down. Always dry the oven properly after cleaning.

Clean the glass door with a soft cloth and soapy water. Dry thoroughly before use. Do

not use a spray-on glass cleaner. Do not clean when hot.

Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth or soft sponge.

Wash the baking rack and the baking tray in soapy water with a mild detergent and a

soft sponge.

Do not use a steel wool pad, a metal brush, a harsh chemical oven cleaner or any

abrasive materials when cleaning the oven.
Note: Never immerse the oven in water or any other liquid.
