Burn-back (fire in burner tube or chamber)
In the event of a burn-back, where the flame burns back to the jet, immediately turn the gas
supply off at the control valve on the panel. After ensuring the flame is extinguished, wait for one
minute and relight the appliance in the normal manner. Should the appliance again burn back,
close the control valve and call a service technician. Do not use the appliance again until the
service technician has declared that it is safe to do so.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage
• Maintenance and cleaning must only be carried out when the gas supply has been turned off
and the heater cold.
• Use a soft wet cloth with a neutral cleaner for dust and dirt.
• When you find the pores in the flame guard are blocked, detach the flame guard, then
clear the pores.
• When the appliance is used for a long time or after not using it for a long time, it is a good idea
to check the connection of the appliance for leaks by using the leak test method mentioned
on page 4. Remember! if bubbles form, there is a leak and the appliance must
not be used until the leak has been resolved.
• When the appliance is not in use for a period of time, we recommend that it is kept covered or
stored in its carton.
Turning Off
1. Turn the switch lever back to the
OFF position.
2. Make absolutely sure that the heater ele-
ment is completely off.
SHOULD THE GAS CYLINDER BECOME EMP-
